Pellejo de Oro | 2019
We have created a culinary experience based on waste of certain foods turned into luxury plates whose objective is to criticize and raise awareness about the world’s famine problem and the impact of waste concerning Mexican culture.
By changing the way our clients think, they then care to collaborate in the cause and that in time, a change can be visualized. Our plates are composed of chicken and pork "waste" cuts, sauces, tortillas, and gold sprinkles, diverse sprouts and flowers.
Each plate was presented and decorated in an "omakase" manner, as each plate was tailored and personalized for each client.
This project was displayed in the Inédito exhibition during Design Week Mexico 2019.
